I made friends with my inner geek yesterday

I act a the local theatre here in Paducah.

Yesterday I was having a conversation with some fellow actors during " Merry Old Land Of Oz" we somehow got on the subject of Liza Minnelli. Something suddenly happened in my brain and i started vomiting out facts about Liza. I have no clue where i learned all of this shit. It was really scary, apparently i was her stalker in a former life or a middle aged gay man.

I started going through who her father was, the scandal about her being a lesbian, facts about the movie Cabaret, and various other things that someone who doesn't sleep in Liza Minnelli closet shouldn't know. I was really confused afterward...

I wasn't going to make an update on my boyfriend this post but he just gave me something to blog about...so here we go.

Matthew does strange things...i worry sometimes.

He has the Anarchist's Cookbook, several banned books, and he is currently on "aljazeera.com"

I don't know where he heard of this website but apparently he is very interested because he is about 5 inches from the screen and showing me things about Iraq I have nothing against Iraq, Iraq is cool...but you get my point. People, I'm concerned. If there is ever a day when you are watching the news and there is tell of a crazy radical white man trying to get in to talk to the president wearing a shirt with Osama Bin Laden's face on it...you won't be able to find me, I will be in the mountains somewhere...with him.

June hasn't even started yet

I find it a tad bit depressing that looking at my calendar I find no free day in June. It hasn't even started yet and I have absolutely NO free time.

Starting a new job next week. That should be fun.

Settling into the apartment is going great. We went shopping friday and got food, I think it's the first time he has has a refridgerator with food in it.

We had a get together last night, we got out the black light, it was fun.

Hardees is going good, i think he is going to apply for managment soon, he ceratinly deserves it.

Basically all is well here with everyone.

I am getting a heat rash...

It is currently 200 degrees here in Paducah, Ky.

I am about to die.

Have you ever noticed that when it is hot outside you were shorts because well it's burning up and then you go inside the library or a grocery store and you freeze to death because its about 2 degrees?? I really hate that, I don't know what I would suggest these places do but they need to figure something out and change.

I am tired of smelling like sweat. It isn't even the first day of summer yet and I am through with summer. UgH!!!

On the flip side of life:
Yesterday I helped my boyfriend do laundry at his new apartment. I'm telling you, he has enough clothes to clothe a third world country and still have some left over for him. It's crazy. The worst part about it is that the total amount that his clothes are worth could buy that third world country. But then again as I said in the previous post, he is pretty awesome.

Well, I suppose that is enough for one day, or at least an hour.

Jumping On The Bandwagon

With all of these new facebook type web sites becoming popular (Twitter and such) I thought I would go with one of the first. Blogging.

So since this is my first post I guess I will tell you a little bit about myself.

I live in Paducah , Ky. I am in every Community Theatre show that comes to Paducah, I sing country music and I am going to college to get a BA in theatre. My hopes are to get an Equity Card and start being a famous broadway star...we'll see how that works out.

I am dating a writer who doesn't have a television or a radio and sits in his apartment reading 3 books a day, writing, and working at Hardees full time. I'm not even gunna lie, he's pretty awesome.
My father is a city commisioner so therefore I am forbidden to do anything that involves getting chased down by the police, pretty sure it would be on the front page of the newpaper.

My plans so far include getting married within the next two years to my wonderfully intellectual simply pleased free lance writer boyfriend, going to WKU and getting the before mentioned degree and then well you know the rest. That's enough about me I suppose. I hope I get some followers soon or else this will just be another part of my life that depresses me.
